Aaron Croft joins Formus Labs as Product Lead with a strong background in software product management and Saas experience. He previously worked as a product manager for Xero.
Aaron started with Formus Labs in September and has since been immersed in the world of hip anatomy and the intricacies of the orthopaedic industry.
“There is so much to learn but it's a fascinating subject matter,” says Aaron.
In his role at Formus Labs as Product Lead, Aaron will bring his software experience to ensure that our products are developed with user needs in mind. A large part of his role will be articulating the opportunities and constraints within the space and working with Formus’ talented teams to find solutions.
“The orthopedic industry is ripe for transformation with innovative software, and I can't wait to see what we do over the coming months and years,” he says.
A background in artificial intelligence (AI) and SaaS, and a desire to make a positive change in the world were the driving factors in Aaron’s desire to work for Formus Labs. He noted Formus' use of sophisticated AI and automated plans are state of the art within the industry.
Aaron says “it is a real privilege to work with the rest of the Formus crew” and he is looking forward to making a difference in the lives of orthopedic patients.
With a masters in commercialisation and entrepreneurship and a doctorate in electrical engineering, Aaron is motivated by organising complicated technical solutions in collaboration with experts to solve real problems for real people at scale.
