Formus Hip in Commercial Use

Formus Labs receives usage revenue as more than 90 surgeries have been planned on Formus Hip since the roll-out of the software in January.

Seven surgeons across New Zealand and Australia are currently using the automated 3D pre-operative planning software, with more being trained in the product each month.

“We are very excited about this new phase and we are working closely with Zimmer Biomet to ensure the success of our new users," says Formus Labs CEO Dr Ju Zhang.

Orthopedic surgeons typically perform 10 to 20 surgeries per month. With more than 1500 surgeons across New Zealand and Australia, it’s easy to see the growth opportunities of our platform.

“As the word continues to get out there about the Formus Platform, we want to build trust and success in a core community of early adopters to help us grow our user-base exponentially,” says Zhang.
